Yngve is professor in Computer Science, esp. Human-Computer Interaction,
at NADA (Department
for Numerical Analysis and Computer Science), KTH.
He is director of the competence centre CID,
Centre for user-oriented IT Design, with roots in IPLab,
the Interaction and Presentation laboratory, at NADA, KTH.
Yngve's research interests are among others

design methodology for cooperation of different competences, notably users,
in computer support development

programming techniques, esp. object-oriented, for development of of user
interfaces
-
computer support for cooperation
He supervises about ten research students, gives research and project courses,
and is a guest lecturer in basic education.
