Dear colleague,
The Workshop on Adaptive Methods for Differential Equations at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, will start on Monday March 30 at 9 AM in room D2 at the Institute. The workshop will end at lunch time, April 1. After lunch that day there will be an excursion to the recently reopened Moderna Museet (http://www.modernamuseet.se). For those of you who intend to give a talk at the workshop and have not yet submitted an abstract, please do so as quickly as possible at http://www.nada.kth.se/~szepessy/ad.reg.html. There will be a number of invited talks. The meeting will start with a short session where the participants who have submitted an abstract indicate if they will talk or not. The program will then be determined by dividing the available time by the number of contributing speakers.
There are a couple of nearby restaurants where lunch is served. Coffee or tea will be available during the breaks in the morning and afternoon sessions. There will be a workshop dinner in Monday evening at a reduced price. There are no other fees. Make sure that you have made your room reservation for your stay in Stockholm. A few hotels in the neighborhood are found at http://www.nada.kth.se/~szepessy/hotel.html.
KTH is close to the subway station Tekniska Hogskolan. The workshop takes place in the big brick building at the entrance of KTH (see picture at http://www.kth.se/index-eng.html). There will be signs at the entrance telling you the right way to room D2. More information about Stockholm can be found at http://www.stockholm.se and http://www.stoinfo.se/england/facts&info/index.html including a map of the subway system.
A partial list abstracts and participants is on http://www.nada.kth.se/~szepessy/ad.work.html
See you in Stockholm!
