# BIT Numerical Mathematics

# Circus

### Stockholm, August 31-September 1, 2006

The focus of this meeting on numerical mathematics is
is to let younger (and some older) researchers present their work: everyone is welcome, nobody is invited.
This means that everybody has the chance to talk.

The purpose is to exchange new ideas on numerical mathematics, understood in
a broad sense. In particular we are interested in efforts to bring modeling, computation and analysis close.

The meeting will be in
Nordic Blue Hotel
starting with lunch at 12.00 on August 31 and ending on friday September 1 at 15.00.

Here are
directions and a map.

The meeting will start with a short session where the participants indicate if they will talk or not.
The program will then be determined by dividing the
available time by the number of speakers, as
in Nordic computational differential equations circus.

This workshop is supported by
BIT, and planned
to continue every second year at different places.
This time Axel Ruhe and Anders Szepessy are organizers with a
budget to cover lodging and meals for around 25 participants:
you are welcome to participate and apply for such support by
