Teaching
I teach courses in basic numerical analysis, computational fluid dynamics and special topics in numerical analysis
for under graduate, master, and PhD students at KTH.
2011/2012
Currently I am on leave of absence from KTH and is spending the autumn
semester (2011) at National University of Singapore, NUS, where
I teach the course:
Numeriska metoder grundkurs II för Open, DN1240. Div material från övningarna finns här.
Research
My research interests are in the area of numerical methods and mathematical models for multiphase flows and complex fluids (particle suspensions), boundary integral methods and fast numerical algorithms.
Results from a numerical simulation of a sedimenting fiber suspension modeled by the Stokes equations and solved using boundary integral equations. The suspension is viewed from above and show how the fibers in the suspension, starting from a homogeneous distribution, form flocs during the sedimentation process.
