quickboy@geocities.com tells me that busdrivers from Midnet don't let you in the bus either.
I've heard that you're not allowed to wear skates in the subways of Rotterdam, and maybe that goes for other cities as well. Besides, with the accelleration that subways get, would you want to be wearing your skates inside? In Rotterdam, I heard that they fine you for wearing them in the subway.
On Rijswijk station, I have been warned that it was too dangerous to skate (I don't think it was), but nothing happened when I skated on. Besides, I have been talking to other NS people on trains and stations, and nobody ever warned me. This probably had to do with the construction work that was going on at Rijswijk station at that time. The NS don't mind if you wear skates in trains.
You're not allowed to wear skates in any tram. This is probably the same story as with the subway. This sucks when you're on skates and you want to take the tram, as F242 says.
gbos@hacktic.nl says he's been kicked out of Hoog Catherijne shopping mall in Utrecht a couple of times. The police told him that too many old ladies had been hit by skaters.
olmez@fwi.uva.nl reports that Schiphol airport is off-limits, but very fun.
We've heard rumours that you're not allowed in the Amsterdam subway, but Lowlevel's never been kicked out so far. You've been warned, though.
Lowlevel's also heard that you're not allowed in Amsterdam Central Station on skates. Same as for the subways: He's never been kicked out, but you've been warned.
Lowlevel reports that you're officially not allowed to wear skates on NZH buses, but that most drivers will let you in anyway, as long as you behave maturely.
The Bijenkorf in Amsterdam is totally off limits for skaters. There's rent-a-cops at every door, and they don't let you in.
According to goudsk8@pi.net (whose email address doesn't seem to work), the KPMG building in Amstelveen is off-limits for skaters, as the rent-a-cops there are not very friendly, especially not with skaters. (Though, he says, the rent-a-cops don't work on sundays...)
