08/01/1998: Happy new year! This is definitely the low season for inline skating. The site hits are doing quite fine, but the mail is slowing down a bit. Here's the news: Sydney reports a new skate park in Borne. An Intersports shop (v/d Biggelaar) in Eindhoven also sells inline skates. You can now buy SKF bearings through their website. A new miniramp in Culemborg. Sportweb also has a site about inline skating, but it's only in Dutch. Two new ramps in Flevoland. A rollerdisco in Eindhoven.

19/08/1997: Last update before I go on holidays for a month (more or less): I'll be on Cyprus from the 25th of August until the 15th of September, and then in Italy from the 22nd of September until the 27th of September. Anyway, here's what's new this time: A picture of the skatebowls in Zandvoort. The first IISA level 1 certified inline skating instructor and a course to become one, organised by FitSkate and Rollerblade. The miniramp in Heemstede-Aerdenhout is a vertramp, instead. The vertramp in Haarlem is very small. Expansion in Zwolle. An update on the Wilhelmina park near Delft. The Friday Night Skate in Amsterdam gets bigger and bigger, and they have an English and a Dutch web site.
08/08/1997: After some furious tcl-hacking, I now have a script that generates (more or less) nice pictures from the log files. They are on the hits page.

07/07/1997: Updated again after a period of absence. Some equipment in Zoetermeer. A site with plans for ramps and rails. Some equipment in Goirle. Expansion in Zwolle. New site in Deventer. Indoor skatepark with two bowls in Zandvoort. The Amsterdam Skeeler Homepage now has a mailinglist and chatsite. Still had some old-style phone numbers lying around. Converted all (I hope) of them. A skate park in Druten. No more ramp in Grave. A ramp in Nieuw-Vennep, though. Also, weekly activities in Doetinchem.
12/06/1997: Whoa! Updates two days in a row? The lycra clothing manufacturer now also has a web page. Skating spots in Den Haag, Zuiderpark and Poeldijk (Westland).
