Introduction

Having always liked ice skating, inline skating is a natural extenstion. However, living in Stockholm as I do, inline skating is not always possible. I still try to go skating quite a bit through the center of the town, though, and there's quite a couple of interesting places to go.

I own a pair of Bauer XT/7 skates, which I use mainly for simply skating around town, doing simple tricks and some longer-distance skating (I just like the speed, I think). I bought my skates at Roll Sports. I recently added a Lazzy Legs Speed Demons hopup kit, which I bought at Rodolfo's. I also have an extra brake, which I put on, now and again, to practice stuff which needs two brakes (like the Wile E Coyote stop).

I used to live in Delft, the Netherlands, and I didn't know that many people there who skated, so I started keeping a list of people who skate. I don't know of any clubs for skaters around there. As I guess there's more people like me out there, I'd like to make this page a sort of 'repository' for information about skating in the Netherlands.

Right now, I don't have a lot of information yet, so if anyone could send me some more, I'd be grateful.

Update: I'm now doing my PhD thesis, in Stockholm, Sweden, so I won't be skating around here so much any more. However, I'll keep maintaining these pages. New information would have to come from you, the public, though. Don't do it for me, don't do it for yourself, do it for the information-hungry. Send me information now! :)
