InLine skating can be a very dangerous sport. If you skate without proper protection (I always wear wristguards and kneepads, and I don't dare try anything tricky), you're asking for injuries. However, if you do wear enough protection (you might want to add elbowpads and a helmet, and more if you feel like it, or do tricky stuff) it can be a relatively safe sport. Remember, though, it's far better to be a protected wimpy without any broken bones, than a really tough guy without any teeth, riding a wheelchair, because he was trying things he couldn't handle, and wasn't wearing enough protection.
That having been said, these pages are not meant to encourage you to do unsafe things in any way. All that these pages offer is information, for you to do with as you want. I, nor any person who gives me information, is in any way responsible for injuries or any other kind of harm caused in any way, either directly or indirectly, by the information in these pages.
This includes, but is not limited to: If you ride in a place that I said was ok to skate in, but you get fined, too bad, but don't blame me (though I would welcome it if you informed me of it, so I can update my information). If you ride down a stairs that I said was ok to try, and fall and break your kneecap, bad luck for you, wear more protection next time, but don't blame me. If you buy your skates in a place that I mentioned here, or even said was cool, but you get ripped off there, well, that's just tough cookies for you, though, again, please tell me about it.
Again, that having been said, I try to maintain the information in these pages as good as I can. As soon as I get new or updated information, I try to incorporate it. Sometimes, however, I have to take other people's word for the quality of a shop or something. I don't run around checking all places I know of. So, if you find any information that is outdated, incomplete or simply not correct, please correct me. But remember, I do all this for free. I get no money for it.
