Danica Kragic is a Professor at the School of
Computer Science and Communication at KTH, Stockholm. She is a
principal investigator several projects: Human Machine
Collaborative Systems, Robot Learning by Demonstration and
Modeling Complex Robot Manipulation Tasks by Human Interaction and
Learning. She is a coordinator for the EU project
GRASP
and a co-PI for the EU project PACO-PLUS
and CogX. These aim at the design
of cognitive robots capable of developing perceptual, behavioural and
cognitive categories in a measurable way and of communicating and
sharing these with humans and other artificial agents.
She is also the Director of the Centre for Autonomous Systems
where she is coordinating NOMAN: Novel Manipulation Project that
involves students from four departments: Computational
Vision and Active Perception (CVAP), Mechatronics/Machine elements
(DAMEK), Signal Processing and Control (S3) and Optimisation and
Systems Theory (OPTSYST). Her research interests involve
robust vision based control, human-robot interaction, vision systems,
path planning and modeling of redundnt robotic systems. Danica Kragic
is involved in teaching of both graduate nad undergraduate courses and
suprevision of Master and PhD studens.
