September 24, A walk to work.

Most days I have been walking to work or at least walking half way. The trip is about 45 minutes on foot.

The is the view as I step out our door.

And this is our house (number 19, Albavagen) on a sunny day.

We occupy the entire second floor.

Along our street, Albavagen, are some wonderful old homes:

And at times it can be quite rural.

It is a very quiet street and the walk is a nice way to start the day.

This is one of my favorite houses. It has a great view of the water and the marina.

Next door is a red Triumph Spitfire Mark III just like the one I had. It is in remarkable shape.

This is the end of Albavagen.

From Albavagen, my walk now takes me along the water.

This is a view of the small local marina.

This photo shows the bridge I walk over which is used by bicycles, pedestrians, and the commuter railway.

From the bridge, the view to the north is very natural.

While the view to the south is of the busy harbor with large passenger ferries heading to Tallinn, and Helsinki.

The bridge is always busy with people fishing for herring.

Finally, a view from the bridge at sunset on the walk home.

We have just passed the equinox and the days are now shorter than the nights. At the moment, however, there is still lots of light.

Finally, Lee brought this marzipan moose home the other day; there is not much of him left...
