October 24. A hike in our local woods.

Saturday was a perfect day for a hike. A good portion of the island on which we live is covered with parkland.

We headed out into the woods which were yellow and orange with fall colors.

In Sweden people manage to enjoy boating even in the fall. Most boats have been pulled from the water but a few hardy souls still venture out. We were suitably impressed.
