I am a Senior Lecturer in the department of Computational Biology, co-located with Stockholm Bioinformatics Center, and vice programme director of a Master's Program in Computational and Systems Biology. I am also involved in the new Erasmus Mundus Master's programme in Systems Biology.

My main collaborators are Jens Lagergren and Bengt Sennblad.

Among my interests is mathematical modeling of evolution, comparative genomics, sequence alignment algorithms, and other problems related to sequence analysis.

I also enjoy working with applied problems in Bioinformatics. Among my collaborators you find Peter Savolainen, Joakim Lundeberg, Tuula Teeri, Vincent Bulone, and Anna Wedell.
