Desert Rain is a game, an installation and a performance that you must explore to find your target.
Desert Rain looks for the faint line between the real and the fictional. Travelling through real and virtual spaces, visitors must work together to search motels and bunkers, deserts and storms.
Having received a briefing each team of six uses foot pads, travelators and embedded video to navigate across deserts and an underground complex to locate your target.
The virtual world - implemented using Nottingham University's MASSIVE 2 software - is projected onto a screen of cascading water. Having completed your virtual mission two further rooms await you...
