Education in Computer Vision, Image Analysis and Robotics at CVAP
Undergraduate courses
Within the undergraduate education at
KTH,
the following basic courses are provided
in computer vision, image analysis and robotics:
Course packages
If you are interested in these subjects,
we recommend our specialization block (fördjupningsblock) in
Computer vision and robotics
as well as the broader and more systems-oriented
educational profile (kompetensinriktning) entitled
Autonomous systems.
Students interested in medical image analysis may also consider the
course package in
Biomedical engineering.
Masters projects
The fields we are working in are suitable for Masters projects
(examensarbeten) over a wide range of subjects.
Please, contact the course administrator of the corresponding
course if you are interested; see also
this page.
Graduate courses
Each year, we also give one or more graduate courses.
Whereas these are mainly intended for PhD students, it is our
policy to keep them open to interested undergraduate students.
During recent years, the following courses have been given:
-
PhD course in Computer Vision
-
Biological Vision and Psychophysics
-
Readings in Computer Vision
In addition, specialized and/or individualized courses are sometimes
given in the areas of computer vision, mathematical methods for
computer vision and medical image analysis. Please, contact
the supervisors listed below for additional information.
About CVAP
This educational programme is provided by the CVAP-group
(Computational Vision and Active Perception Laboratory)
at NADA,
which does research in computer vision and robotics
concerning theories and their applications.
Currently, the group consists of about 20 researchers
and PhD students.
The group has extensive international and national contacts,
and has participated in several European and
international research projects
with strong interactions with several well-reputed research
groups in Europe and the U.S.
